St. Paul College is a community and technical college in downtown St. Paul. Friday, December 3, over 40 TORCH students, and 250 more students from southern Minnesota, visited the Southern Minnesota Multicultural Student Career Day and College Fair hosted by Riverland College. ¡TORCH ya tiene su propio fondo de becas! Se dan las becas anualmente a estudiantes que alcanzan los siguientes criterios:
Minoría, de bajos ingresos familiares, primera generación en asistir al colegio/universidad; o
Han participado en las actividades del programa TORCH de NHS.
Han sido acepatdo por una escuela pos-secundaria de 2 o 4 años.

TORCH now had its own scholarship fund! Scholarships will be awarded annually to students who meet the following criteria:
Minority, low-income, or fist generation college bound; or
Have been involved in the NHS TORCH Program.
Have been accepted at a 2 yr or 4 yr post secondary program.

In January, TORCH hired Lisa Gaetjens to work part-time as a Postsecondary Specialist. Lisa will be working to support alumni during their college careers and helping seniors make the transition to life after high school. She will also be coordinating the Riverland PSEO program and communicating with Spanish-speaking families.
