Tackling Obstacles and Raising College Hopes (TORCH) is a program available at both Northfield Middle School and Northfield High School. The mission of the Middle School TORCH Program is to support students in their academic success in preparation for high school and to create opportunities and foster connections with their school and community.
- Bi-monthly academic advising sessions are provided for all TORCH students to review grades and missing assignments
- One on one tutoring matches during the school day
- After school homework help provided through a partnership with the Middle School Youth Center, four days per week.
After School Programming
A variety of offerings are provided after school, including interest areas such as sewing, cooking, book clubs, robotics, service learning, arts and crafts, recreational opportunities, career exploration, friendship groups and much more.
